Our Central Services team provides centralised support to the Group. A career with us provides the chance to work with colleagues across our global offices. We provide support across technology & business systems, communications & marketing, finance and general office administration.

Role overview

Responsible for assisting with the administration of the underlying companies of a large family office structure, as required.

Assist with the preparation of the consolidated valuation and management accounts including

  • Posting of cash and investment journals in the nominal ledgers 
  • Reconciling the bank and loan accounts 
  • Reconciling investment positions 
  • Pricing of investments 
  • Posting the investment revaluation journals 
  • Calculation and accrual of company expenses 
  • Calculating the net asset value of some of the companies 

Assist with cash management

  • Paying ongoing expenses of the companies 
  • Paying for investments 
  • Checking receipts and documenting funds received

Company investment administration 

  • Checking that investment requests are documented in line with procedures 
  • Writing of company minutes for new investments and investment redemptions 
  • Company Administration 
  • Electronic document filing 
  • Assist with the maintenance of the corporate register and database 
  • Writing company minutes 
  • Assist with the appointment of directors and alternate directors 
  • Assist with the administration of any intercompany share dealings 
  • Assist with the acceptance of new companies 

Available to assist in other duties as and when requested 

Minimum knowledge and education 

  • Educated to ‘A’ level standard, or equivalent 
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and principles  

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines  
  • Strong command of the English language  
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a small team
