Our Central Services team provides centralised support to the Group. A career with us provides the chance to work with colleagues across our global offices. We provide support across technology & business systems, communications & marketing, finance and general office administration.

Role overview

Operations & business support 

To ensure that there are sufficient processes, procedures and reporting systems in place to monitor, review, assess and minimise client operational and AML/CFT risk within the business, while adhering to local laws, codes of practice and regulations together with Group policies.

In particular the post holder is expected to work with the other departments to ensure that systems and controls are fully effective, up to date and compliant with regulatory obligations.  

GFSC - Registry maintenance 

  • Manage all aspects of the regulatory companies’ registry; including updates to all entities within the required timeline; including obtaining the information for change from the administration processes and or audit reports as necessary.
  • Engage with and manage any Registry Supervision visits and be a point of contact for all registry matters
  • Manage the Annual Validation process
  • Provide required training to the colleagues and ensure that information is provided to the Operations & Business support team in a timely manner as required 

Data & Processes 

  • Review and manage any processes which can be outsourced to the Group Business Process Services Team 
  • Manage all aspects of the Key Data held in the core database (Acumen) and assist in the alignment of all relevant fields and codes in Acumen with Jersey
  • Provide support for banking relationships and banking platforms 

Systems & controls 

  • To oversee any projects, undertaken in the Operations team in respect of group and or local Transformation. To consider ways of obtaining efficiencies through automated processing or Centres of Excellence

Risk management 

  • Understand and apply local legislation relating to drug trafficking, money laundering, terrorist financing and any other legislation that impacts on the conduct of fiduciary business within the jurisdiction
  • Stay up to date with changes in legislative and professional standards
  • Identify and respond appropriately to risk situations relevant to the company and/or its clients and implement adequate internal controls to mitigate risk
  • Analyse reports and facilitate the flow of information 
  • Monitor business processes

Corporate governance

  • Provide key information to board members, committees and managers in relation to progress in respect of the Registry 
  • Display a high degree of commitment at work at all times  
  • Monitor and assist in streamlining business processes
