Praxis appoints Gavin Carruthers as part of corporate services expansion

Independent professional services group Praxis has appointed technical specialist Gavin Carruthers as Corporate Services Director as it continues to expand its global corporate services offering.

Gavin brings more than 20 years of experience in the offshore and onshore financial services industry, specialising in providing administration services to private equity, venture capital and real estate funds and is based in our Jersey office.

He has previously worked as a director in fund administration and company secretarial roles for international private wealth and corporate services providers, including leading the fund administration divisions. With strong technical expertise and an accounting background, Gavin has also acted as a board director on Jersey and Cayman Islands-regulated funds.

Gavin is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies with honours in Accounting from the University of Strathclyde.
