Denis joined Trireme in 2016 after 15 years of proactive support to a wide range of clients in different industries in Malta and the UK.
History
Prior to working with Praxis, Denis was involved in audit and accountancy of a wide range of clients in various industries in Malta and the UK. During those years he obtained a wide range of accounting and finance related experience.
Denis is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants and is also a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor in Malta.
Roles and responsibilities
Denis is responsible for overseeing the finance operations of Praxis' Maltese Pensions & Employer solutions division.
This includes managing the entire audit process for the company, schemes, and SICAVs, as well as coordinating with tax service providers on various tax-related issues, including company tax refunds.
Denis also works alongside the compliance teams to ensure regulatory and accounting standards in financial reporting. He also supervises and coaches staff involved in client accounting and credit control.
