Gillian is a Jersey advocate and an English solicitor (non practising).
Career history
She trained as a solicitor in the City of London and worked in Hong Kong (Baker McKenzie) and London (Slaughter and May) as a litigation lawyer.
Gillian came to Jersey in 1995 when she joined Bailhache Labesse (later to become Appleby). She was a partner in that firm for 13 years before taking up her present role with Praxis in 2014.
Role at Praxis
Gillian provides a wide range of legal advice to the Group on both internal and client matters and is a member of the Group's Risk Committee. She also acts as Money Laundering Reporting Officer in respect of certain entities.
Gillian is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales the Law Society of Jersey and STEP.
