Role overview
To lead one of our private client administration teams, undertaking a primary client relationship role with a number of complex/significant clients as well as managing and providing technical support and guidance to a team of administrators. The post holder will work closely with and provide support and absence cover to the Associate Directors and Directors
The role will also assist with business development, particularly in developing services provided to existing clients and maintaining and developing good working relationships with intermediary providers. This will require the post holder to support new fiduciary products that respond to client needs within Praxis’ target market. This may require the candidate to be available for travel.
As part of the Fiduciary management team the postholder will strive to improve profitability whilst managing relevant risk factors with regard to both Praxis’ and clients’ exposure to risk, and always providing a quality service to clients. There will also be involvement in ad hoc team and business projects as required.
Job accountabilities:
- To act as Senior Client Relationship Manager and assume the lead client relationship role and report to the Client Relationship Director in relation to matters affecting the Client Relationship matters
- Assist with the development of PraxisIFM Trust Limited fiduciary offerings including the introduction of any products developed in other territories
- Conduct client relationship meetings as appropriate to client base and in accordance with Praxis KPIs and standards
- Assist with the Praxis Group marketing effort through recognition and sourcing of potential introducers of work and meeting them thereafter and ongoing meeting and contact with clients, advisors and marketing leads
- Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures affecting the client relationship and operational matters
- Assist with communication of change and provide support for its implementation
- Provide a point of contact for the channelling of information, projects and change relating to matters affecting Client Relationships
- Monitoring and reviewing oversight data and addressing issues as necessary
- Control over and implementation of ad hoc Department projects from time to time
- Provide daily support with the management of the trust administration teams for which you are responsible and to suggest change as required
- Assist with measures which may be required to reduce errors, breaches and complaints being made within the trust department
- Completion of performance and objective reviews for team members when required
- Continued review of recruitment needs to meet the changing needs of the trust administration teams for which you are responsible
- Act as a “A” signatory on our client business committees and attend meetings accordingly
- Act as a "A” signatory on bank accounts
- Provide cover for colleagues when required
Minimum education and experience:
- Educated to ‘A’ Level standard, or equivalent
- A minimum of eight years’ relevant experience
- A relevant professional qualification i.e. STEP Diploma, CGI Diploma or equivalent
Required skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of and a proven track record in offshore fiduciary services
- A proven track record in handling complex offshore fiduciary issues
- A proven track record in client relationship management
- Exposure to marketing and business development initiatives coupled with a willingness to get involved in the development of new markets
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for dealing with staff, intermediaries, and clients
- Excellent time management and organisation
- Good presentation skills
- Sound judgement
- Good understanding of financial markets and finances in general
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues
- Knowledge of compliance issues and the regulatory framework within which Praxis operates
